Okay, I can't get this thing to work right, but whatever...
Whenever anyone declares that a book or film should be boycotted or blacklisted, it makes me want to go out and read it. Honestly, what little I've read on the Amazon "Search Inside" thing and what exploration I've done about this allegedly atheistic-brainwashing-agenda trilogy has me clicking the whole trilogy into my shopping cart and buying it along with my dad's Christmas present.
The simple fact that it's about a parallel universe in which the Reformation never happened and somehow John Calvin became pope is enough to REALLY fascinate me...
So I'll buy it, and I'll read it, and at least someone at my church will be able to comment intelligently on the book itself rather than simply parroting the fear-speak of the Christian Right's chain emails...maybe I'll even see the movie.
peace,
Jem
